Happy Incarnation Day!
I am simply pondering the absurdity of the Incarnation.
Who would have ever seen it coming? Who would have ever seen the surprise move that God made?
It is truly scandalous that the God of the Heavens would come down into our mess.
It is incomprehensible to imagine a god that created everything and watched us screw it up and THEN step into it to redeem us.

What are you living your life for?
About a month ago, my church (http://oakbrookchurch.com) was celebrating our 25th anniversary on a Sunday night. The night was full of big laughter looking back at old pictures, music, stories of changed lives through the Gospel, memories of God’s past faithfulness, and expectation of His future faithfulness.
